We at Haffenden Training Solutions are working to make our site haffendentrainingsolutions.com accessible to people with disabilities.

What web accessibility is

An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse the site with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This can be achieved with the capabilities of the system on which the site is operating, and through assistive technologies.

Accessibility adjustments on this site

We have adapted this site in accordance with WCAG 2.2 guidelines, and have made the site accessible to the level of AA. This site's contents have been adapted to work with assistive technologies, such as screen readers and keyboard use. As part of this effort, we have also:

  • Used the Accessibility Wizard to find and fix potential accessibility issues

  • Set the language of the site 

  • Set the content order of the site’s pages

  • Defined clear heading structures on all of the site’s pages

  • Added alternative text to images

  • Implemented color combinations that meet the required color contrast

  • Reduced the use of motion on the site

  • Ensured all videos, audio, and files on the site are accessible

Haffenden Training Solutions is committed to ensuring our training venues are accessible and inclusive for all attendees. We aim to provide a welcoming and supportive environment for individuals with disabilities and accessibility needs.

Arrival and Parking:

  • Accessible parking bays are available close to the main entrance.

  • Clear signage is in place from the parking area to guide visitors to the venue entrance.

  • Drop-off points are located near the main doors for easy access.

Public Transport Access:

  • Our venues are located near public transport links, including local bus stops.

  • Most nearby stations and stops are wheelchair accessible.

Entrances and Navigation:

  • Step-free access is available at all main entrances.

  • Automatic or wide-opening doors are present for ease of entry.

  • Clear, high-contrast signage is used throughout the building.

Inside the Venue:

  • All training rooms are located on the ground floor or accessible via lift.

  • Accessible toilets are available and clearly marked.

  • Seating arrangements can be adjusted to accommodate wheelchairs and mobility devices.

  • Training materials can be provided in large print or alternative formats upon request.

Hearing and Visual Support:​

  • Our trainers are experienced in working with individuals with sensory impairments and will adapt delivery methods where needed.

  • Visual aids used during training are high-contrast and screen-reader friendly versions can be supplied.

Additional Support:

  • Assistance dogs are welcome in all areas of the premises.

  • A dedicated team member is available on-site to support any accessibility needs during your visit.
